Pick and mix jewellery - beautiful and calorie-free

Pick and mix jewellery - beautiful and calorie-free

We love Links of London easy-to-wear pieces, so became all magpie-like when we heard about founder, and former owner, Annoushka Ducas’s latest venture. Her eponymous flagship boutique opened in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge this week. If you’re not in London, don’t despair; 10 more stores are slated to open over the next few months, and you can browse and buy the collection in the online store too. Designs are bold and eye-catching, without being too much about the bling – it’s all about Annoushka’s eye for precious and semi-precious stones, their cut, and traditional goldsmithing techniques. We love the delicate Mythology collection inspired by Russian fairytales, stackable eternity rings, and pick-and-mix feel of the Aurora collection. The cocktail rings are showstoppers, and as they’re available in over 500 different permutations, you’ll be unlikely to click fingers with another that’s exactly the same. Prices start from £75 for a hammered silver Sonora Pebble ring, and from £350 or so for a cocktail ring. If you’re still waiting for the ‘Tiffany epidural’, as a friend of Blog angels & urchins, vulgarly but memorably puts it, maybe pop this post in the post to a certain daddy.

Does anyone really get a ‘push present’? Isn’t a baby a big enough gift?! Not entirely joking, isn’t the credit crunch hurting even the ‘Tiffany epidural’ new mums?

  2. Hellie White says:

Baby arriving three weeks early, husband abroad, no room at the hospital, Sunday night staff shortage – yup, I think a push present should be available on the nhs!!

  3. The bread of every day
The best way is that where your heart
this is, where your feet go.
Your path becomes sacred by the mere fact
    to be inserted therein.
There are all your mood, your wishes,
your dreams, your joys, your pain.
Issues already taken, others to work
and so many have forgotten somewhere in your be …
There you have the ability to spin the wheel when desired,
    choosing other paths, other things.
Have you thought how many spaces inside of you
    are waiting for your brushes,
    of your paint, your creation?
Have you felt that you all means to launch
    what your heart yearns both?
Be a pardon, a bit of silence,
a little more understanding, patience, wisdom, joy …
Often, close your eyes to this reality,
leaving you in the hands of others that you care
and you show the way by which you must follow.
Blame for the life you feel excluded, forgotten,
    for not being blessed …
Who can, really. do something for you,
if everything depends on your desire, your wish?
    There is no cure …
You have to roll up their sleeves,
shake the dust of your feet and continue.
Or continue to be in the dark,
without knowing for sure where you are going to …
The important thing is not, not stagnate.
Even in moments where you feel lost,
completely without direction, there is something that works in you
and for you in a constant.
There, behind the many shadows, fears
    and disappointments, some lights …
    Learn something, something organizes …
And then a day, wake feeling that
the storm passed, a light ends
your heart in a sweet balance …
    It is … Life continues,
    tend to believe even when
that your forces were back there.
    Bless you, invigorate your way,
    te he belongs
and is, finally, under your care.
There is no “other” to take care of your journey.
Only you can walk it and experienced it.
This is the bread of every day.
