Spa stance, as recommended by Elemis once children are in bed...

It’s Friday. The summer holidays are nearly over. You’re probably exhausted. (If not, why not?) And the weekend, alas, with children in tow is usually no different to the daily 9 to 5am. So those nice people at Elemis have arranged a little treat. We don’t do gratuitous plugs at blog angels & urchins because we don’t need to – if we like it, we talk about it. And we really like Elemis. The products are soothing, ultra moisturising, packed with essential oils to help you relax, and they smell great. The sizes are generous, and each package features a miniature size of another product to try – great for travelling, too.

We’ve got an Instant Refreshing Gel, a Skin Moisurising Milk Bath, Exotic Frangipani Monoi Moisure Melt and Japanese Camellia Oil Blend. All are safe to use during pregnancy (trust us, the Instant Refreshing Gel does untold good to those swollen ankles) and together the package is worth £119.

For your chance to win, visit angels & urchins’ competition area, then leave a comment below, telling us why you’re so exhausted after the summer. The mother who answers the competition question correctly, and who we consider the most tired and deserving, wins! Don’t forget to include your email address – it won’t be shown online, we’ll keep it secret, and won’t pass on your details to anyone else. We’ll show the best entries in the comments section, below. The winner will be revealed on 4th September 2009.

I’m a student mental health nurse, so run off my feet with essays and exams as well as having to fit in time on practice. I spend my days trying to help people with their problems, which is so rewarding but very difficult and quite exhausting most of the time. My partner proposed to me recently so spare time is spent trying to plan a wedding, and somewhere in the middle find time to relax and sleep! These lovely bits would really give me an excuse to take a night off and pay some attention to myself, and would be so hugely appreciated by me.

I’m feeling exhausted as my terninally ill friend come out of hospital with two weeks to live(he’s still going strong 4 weeks later). He wanted to live independently so I have up and down to house at all hours of the day and night to check he’s OK and later on to check if he has got to bed OK. As things are now a bit easier I slept for 14 hours, whereas, I normally sleep for five. What with the school holidays it’s been an exhausting experience.

I need to something to get me through the last 3 weeks of pregnancy – I really need some ‘me time’ before it’s too late. Five months ago it seemed like a great idea to keep working right up to the due date – what was I thinking?!

My three boys aged 12, 9 and 2 are enough to leave me exhausted just by themselves!!! but mad as I am I also child mind another 2 year old little boy, so by the end of the school holidays I was totally shattered. Not much of a rest has been had since though, as it was off to Secondary school for the eldest! Now he has settled in, it would be perfect to get a chance to relax and treat myself.
