Ready made curtains (some with tab tops to make hanging easier).  The choice of fabric is quite limited and they aren't great at keeping out the light but they are good value and so perhaps better as a temporary measure.

Funky fabrics made to measure into Blackout Blinds and Curtains.  We love the new Vintage Classic collection which is stunning but  it's got a lot of pinks and florals so perhaps not one for the boys but the girls will love it, the designs are stunning.

For the boys there's the Safari Park Fabric Collection which also has vintage twist to it, the slightly muted colours are a welcome relief to some of the brighter kids range.

Some very basic ready made curtains.  They are very thin and so not great at keeping the light out but as a temporary measure they aren't bad and at £29.50 it won't break the bank.

Brilliant blind safety device. Simple cord-trap system that fixes the roller blind cord to the wall to keep the cord-loop well out of the way of playful toddlers. They are easy to fit to the wall with one screw and can either be fitted to a new blind or to one you may already have at home. All hand made and painted in England.
