Farm shops are all around the country becoming a popular end destination for shopping and eating and Herfordshire is no exception. of particular note is Pearce’s Farmshop and Cafe, just outside Braughing which offers delicious tapas and brunch. Another one can be found in Ardeley, Church Farm which also has the Jolly Wagoners, the pub opposite which serves only produce from the farm.

The Cheddar Vine in Barley and The Chequers also in Barley offer good simple food. The Three Tuns in Great Hormead has a delicious fsh and chips offer on a thursday night for £6. Deifnitely worth a summer visit is The Fox and Duck in Therfeld as you can sit outside on the village green.
