The laughter raised the roof at Troxy in Limehouse with the announcement of the Scholastic Laugh Out Loud children's book awards.

Michael Rosen read Chocolate Cake, the Birmingham Stage Company performed Horrible Histories AND Gangsta Granny, Alesha Dixon read from her new book, Lightning Girl (coming April - watch out girls of 8+ it sounded fun) and we were treated to a fab new double act of Liz Pichon and Charlie Higson creating a monster.
