Charlie and Lola's Best Bestest Play

Everyone's favourite siblings translate wonderfully to puppets in this gorgeous new production at Wimbledon's Polka Theatre.

The recommended age range is 4-7 but we sneaked in with a three year old who was charmed throughout (as was his mum). Adapted from the familiar stories, Lola does NOT want to tidy her room; does NOT want to go to bed; but does want to do some magic.

With expert puppeteers, some fun choreography and the familiar kids' voiceovers, this is both an imaginative departure and reassuringly familiar to Charlie and Lola fans. The gentle pace is a welcome alternative to most early years entertainment.
