What's cooking?
Daylesford Organic is launching a Cookery School at its lovely Farmshop in Gloucestershire. Two children’s cooking days are scheduled for 21 Nov and 19 Dec. The emphasis is very much on connecting children with nature and learning about food provenance as well as making some delicious treats. Expect to collect milk and eggs and dig potatoes before you start cooking. All children will take home a start up Cooking Pack, containing an apron, cooking equipment, seasonal fruit and vegetables and salad plug tray to grow and harvest at home. Plus, of course, some of the day’s creations like bread, pasta and chocolate bonbons. There is an excellent list of local hotels, pubs and b&bs on the Daylesford website so you could go for the day or make a weekend of it in this beautiful bit of the Cotswolds. £180 per child. Suitable for ages 8-16.  daylesfordorganic.com  01608 731 700
