There is a treat in store for any fans of Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy, as The Night Garden has arrived at some select picture cinemas around town until the 12th December and it is charming. The episode runs for about half an hour to promote the new DVD What Fun! 

We went to the Gate Cinema in Notting Hill for their 11am screening and our two-year-olds were transfixed, leaving the mums to relax and zone out to the dulcit tones of Derek Jacobi.  For £3 per child, and free for accompanying adult, it is a perfect treat for pre-schoolers while their siblings are off your hands.
