In the adverts we are promised an App for just about anything, and the worrying thing is... it is true.

So, it's simple. Go onto appstore via the iTouch/iPhone and take your pick. There are apparently 200,000 apps, which seems hard to believe, but it is a crazy world out there.

Davy, 11,  has his 3 favourites, and we have torn others away from their hand held micro worlds to tell us theirs.

The 'all-in-one Gamebox' which is only 59p and has 25 games 'all-in-one'. (a favourite for obvious reasons)

Doodle Jump - warning - seriously addictive - 59p

and 'Stick it Action' - which is a truly great animation App, allowing you to create your own mini-movies.

He insists and I totally agree, that one of the coolest has to be the 'Bump' app which is totally bizarre, as in enables information (a photo/document/game) to be transferred from one iPhone/iTouch to another, but simply 'bumping' them together....too wierd?

The Lego App is great and free and miraculously turns any image of your choosing into Lego blocks.

'Shazam' recognises a song from the radio when you can't remember the name, artist etc. totally adored by music fans of all ages.

'Karl' who you can tickle to make him laugh and 'Baby Bup' which consists of a stream of swirly images babies love to watch.

'Virtuoso' - where you become the world's greatest composer.

'The Perfect Egg Timer' - self explanatory

'Trivial Pursuit' - fun for journeys and trains.

There are also the obvious calculators, cooking with Jamie apps, design your own boots, and get yourself out of a paper bag apps, that you simply can't get through life without!
