There are lots of lovely farms that make a great trip not too far out of town.

Now is the perfect time for a visit.

Bocketts Farm Park. Leatherhead. A lovely working farm with old and modern animal breeds.  Pig racing, goat milking, pony rides and lots of baby animals.

Odds Farm Park. In High Wycombe has a mass of cuddly animals. Bottle feeding lambs, sheep races, tractor rides, rabbit world, a lovely cafe and indoor and outdoor play areas.

Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. Bedfordshire.  London Zoo's out of town home isn't a safari, but is in a lovely setting and well worth a trip.

Willows Farm Village. St Albans. Animals include 300 guinea pigs, reindeer, falcons and wallabies. Lots of new cute babies to pet.

Woburn Safari Park. Bedfordshire. An animal safari kingdom. You hardly need bother with Africa once you have been here.
