A trip with the children to Regents Park’s Open Air theatre is always a pleasure and this year no less so with their version of Macbeth re-imagined for everyone aged six and over. If the younger end of the audience couldn’t quite fathom Shakespeare’s verse it didn’t seem to take away from their enjoyment. The imaginative audience participation, catchy modern music and inspired scenery (a paper back drop on which graffiti is sprayed with visual aids to the plot) had children and adults alike enthralled by the tale of witches, battles, ghosts, murder and revenge.
