Top of our list is bunting from The Baby Patch from £15. Lovely personalised blankets too. Another company who does lovely personalised bunting is Babyface. £4 per letter.

We love Emma Bridgewater's mugs. £16 from her shops (check out her shop in Fulham Road which has just had a complete makeover to create a stylish lifestyle shop). Emmabridger Water.

Chantal Devenport makes heavenly personalised goodies: Mason & Pearson decorated hairbrushes and beautiful keepsake boxes, musical boxes, as well as name plates and hooks. Good for boys too.

Cox & Cox's ‘Let’s name it …’ section is bursting with ideas. The personalised stationery is really good value and the Name Cuffs are winner. We know lots of pre-teens who will love the hoodies too.

For an interiors present, what about some wonderful hand-painted furniture: Dragons of Walton Street  has lovely personalized child’s rush-seated chairs (£205); and Letterbox has all-wooden personalised stools (£38).

In fact, Letterbox has a host of personalised goodies including hot water bottle covers and the rabbit pyjama case is lovely. The swimming and kit bags will become indispensable.

I am going to put in my order for one of the lovely hand-painted door plaque £25 from Letterbox for my new neice. And this pirate one (one of a few designs) is really lovely too from Cherish & Cherubs (£20.75).

Girls in particular love personalised stationery. We think Honey Tree has some of the nicest we have ever seen. Choose from lots of different designs (including these cute ducks).

As the name suggests, The Letteroom is devoted to letters. Every personalised gift you can imagine and more: from chocolate, to cushions, to letter bunting. The alphabet ducks are very cute.


We’ve always loved the personalized dinosaur t-shirts: Jimmysaurus, Anniesauraus … But there’s lots more too on Not on the High Street, whether that be an apron, snuggle blanket or a gorgeous personalized bunny in a box.
