I took my first child regularly to the OCC (Osteopathic Centre for Children) when it was housed in Harley Street. I found the level of expertise and kindness reassuring in that first year of motherhood: they aim to ‘re-balance children's bodies, enabling them to harness their own resources to optimum effect’. After other venues, the OCC has just re-opened with a new clinic in Wandsworth, where it will be able to offer 30,000 treatments a year to babies, children, pregnant women and post-partum mothers. The centre relies on donations to maintain its brief of providing osteopathic treatment to ante and post-natal mothers and children regardless of their ability to pay.
