
The Polka Theatre’s story-writing competition is up and running, inviting all children of primary school age to write stories inspired by Brazil. With three categories, from Years 1–6, entrants given total freedom on the subject their story as long as it is in some inspired by Brazil. The Polka has teamed up with writer Marcus Sedgwick who is giving online tips ideas for storywriting as well as penning his own Brazil story. Entries must be submitted by 8 April. The winning entrants in each age category will each win £25 of book tokens their stories will being performed Polka’s Main Stage on the 9 July.
