Tate Modern Café 2 has recently won the Time Out Best Family Restaurant Award - and we give it the vote of confidence too. It really is a great place to take the kids whether you've visited the museum or not.

Children's drinks are served in unbreakable cups, there are crayons and colouring on tap (as you'd expect from such an esteemed art venue) and the menus don't dumb down to children with delicious burgers and pastas. The best bit was the tall ice cream sundaes and a really delicious Moroccan chicken dish.
