Admissions Procedure: In the October before their September entry, registered boys (and parents) meet the head and his staff, are shown round and then sit a 35 minute assessment. Two forms of fifteen pupils each enter at 7 with a further form at 8.

Children go on to: Eton, Harrow, Radley school, but, as staff are keen to point out, not exclusively so.  Others include St Edward's, Wellington, Marlborough, Shiplake, Winchester and Oundle.

Further Information: Only twenty miles from London, the school is safely lodged in leafy and opulent-feeling Bucks. Lots of setting and streaming but these boys thrive on the competiton the sets are not cast in bronze. The scholarship stream (springing from the well of 9 year olds) is full of bright eyed boys who, of course, do Latin and Greek and get that extra help towards scholastic glory. Parents appreciate the frequent reports they receive. Boys are required to board from age 11.
