John Yeoman and Quentin Blake: 50 Years of Children's Books

Quentin Blake has had a number of extended collaborations with writers, and the longest of all with John Yeoman.

Yeoman persuaded Blake to try children's illustration for the first time in 1960. This resulted in their earliest book - A Drink of Water.

Since then they have worked together on nearly 50 projects, continuing to this day. The latest, All The Year Round, will be launched by Andersen Press on 2 October to coincide with the exhibition.
