This year at Imagine, staff are getting smaller: look out for children waiting to welcome you to our festival of literature, music, comedy and performance for the young. Children run the festival as part of Kids Takeover, but they also feature in the performances – from playing with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Charles Hazelwood, to taking a Beastie on a walk.

Enjoy a star-studded afternoon with the best children’s writers at the Red House Children’s Book Award, the only award voted for by children.
