The Pound in Your Pocket

An interactive exhibition about inflation sounds unlikely but the Museum’s has used every trick to make this driest of topics accessible. Kids can take the controls of a hot air balloon and try, as the Bank does, to steer a steady course!

Moneybox Modelling: 21 July–29 August, 10am–5pm

Make and decorate gold bar moneyboxes and treasure chests.  Suitable for all ages.  

Write in Time: 11–15, 18–22 Aug,  10.30am–4.30pm  
 
300 years of bank note design: learn the art of calligraphy and dip-pen writing with a professional scribe.
