A specially programmed triple bill featuring comic duo Rannel alongside Wayne McGregor / Random Dance and Breakin' Convention ’07 favorites Boy Blue reaches the Lilian Baylis Theatre in the summer half term in May.
The programme presents a mix of dance styles and is designed to appeal to young dance audiences through a programme of three diverse, short and energetic works.
To start the programme Monty Python-inspired duo Rannel present Flhip Flhop. In Flhip Flhop elements of hip-hop are hidden and twisted into a dynamic performance using found objects and intricate choreography to create an energetic and spontaneous comedy.
Next up is the sharp, fast and recognisable style of Wayne McGregor | Random Dance who present an excerpt from their new work ENTITY, with choreography driven by McGregor’s consuming passion for the human body and its expressive physicality.
Exceptional East London duo Boy Blue complete the programme with The Unusual Force a powerful abstract duet in nu style poppin' performed by Kenrick H20 Sandy and Vicky Skytilz Mantey.
