Storystock Friday Fun
These Friday sessions from Storystock have been a delight throughout lockdown and each week a new and exciting voice or vision in Children's Books is streamed to our zoom living rooms to draw with, listen to or be inspired by.
This week is the turn of illustrator and author Emma Lazell who will be reading from her delightful new book That Dog! Published this August by Pavilion Books.
Emma will read her book and get everyone busy with a fully interactive drawalong. Sharpen those pencils and bring paper and look forward to seeing everyone there for some fun and games. Perfect for ages 3-8 and their families.
Sign up via the Riverside Studios website here, scroll down for the Storystock Storytime slot and you reserved your place for Friday. It promises to be lots of fun.
Learn French with Jim Field
Monsieur Roscoe on Holiday is a brand new picture book written and illustrated by Jim Field published by Hachette.
It's a brand new venture for him to both write and illustrate and we love it! Jim is best known for his bringing Oi Frog! to life through his illustrations. There are strong Richard Scarry vibes in this latest offering, and is a truly fun way to get kids excited about how words sound in another language. Monsieur Roscoe is the perfect teacher.
We caught up with Jim remotely in Paris, read our interview with him here.
