Nobu Ibiza Bay

Melissa Barker, of Travelbeam Luxury Hotels, recommends this new addition to the Ibiza scene as a genuinely family- friendly option.

“It is in a lovely location on Talamanca beach with stunning panoramic sea views. Fantastic food with a healthy spin (think fresh Quinoa and ginger salads, fabulous seafood and sushi and lots of gluten free). The breakfast restaurant Chamboa has tables on a sandy oor so expect to see parents eating their breakfast with children playing in the sand at their feet.

It is definitely child-friendly and the atmosphere is chilled and welcoming for everyone. It doesn’t feel too adult or clubby at all.

The Kids’ Club is open 10am–10pm (40 euros per day including lunch) and the same team who run this babysit in the evenings so children get to know them and recognise a friendly face. For parents the concierge desk has contacts and recommendations for all the ‘right’ restaurants, bars and clubs so can get you reservations should you want to see and be seen!

There is a full programme of outdoor fun such as football on the beach and typically Ibizan activities from making an Ibizan beach bag to DJ classes. Every night there is a movie night and there are cookery lessons most days.”

From £1,399 for 2 adults and 1 child for 3 nights in September including breakfast, ights and transfers (Note: The hotel closes end Oct and re-opens April).
