Joie's i-Spin Safe

Choosing a car seat for your little one isn't the easiest task, with plenty of seats to choose from on the market. Safety is always top of our list and the latest rearward-facing car seat from Joie certainly ticks this box.

We've been testing the new i-Spin Safe on our little 7-month old reviewer and here's why we love it.

The seat combines the standards of the Swedish Plus Test and has been i-Size certified, ensuring the most up-to-date and highest safety requirements are met. There is safety on all sides, with Guard Surround Safety side impact protection panels that automatically lock outward when the harness is tightened and absorb force during a crash.

Rearward facing is the safest way for your child to travel. Most seats advocate 'rearward for longer', however this seat is rearward facing only. From birth up to 4 years your child will travel rearward-facing. Rearward facing seats protect weak, underdeveloped necks up to 80% more than forward facing seats.

The 90 degree swivel (which you can do one-handedly) turns your little one towards you when buckling them up/getting them out, which makes getting in and out of the car so much easier.

Other pros...

If you're travelling during nap time the Sleepytime tilt with 6 recline positions allows your child to relax in business-class style.

The seat grows with your child with removable inserts to create the perfect fit for growing little ones. Plus, a 6 position headrest and harness system which adjust simultaneously.

Simple to install with the 1 time ISOFIX base, so no fiddly seat belt threading involved! There is also an installation indicator on top of the base to confirm that the leg is fitted correctly.
