The brilliant Luna Cinema have worked out how to get us back outside on the lawns of beautiful houses with open air socially distanced screenings this August.
Tickets for all Luna open air screenings this summer will offer a designated pitch per booking group, each with directors’ chairs laid out in advance for each person, ensuring guests have space to kick back and enjoy the setting safely. Seating will be sanitised between each screening, and bookers can choose whether to book a two-person or four-person pitch, though all members of each party must be from no more than two households. Larger groups from more households can sit in adjacent pitches.
Venues in or close to London include the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Chiswick House, the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich, Hampton Court and Blenheim Palace.
New releases on the programme include Jojo Rabbit as well old favourites such as Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman and family sing-alongs like The Greatest Showman and Grease.
Ticket prices are £39 for a seated pitch for two people and £78 for a seated pitch for four people. Pitches will contain 2 or 4 director’s chairs, depending on the ticket choice.
