Mexico’s iconic masked superheroes return to London this Saturday. For one day only, the Roundhouse will be transformed into a Mexican Arena, where spectators can immerse themselves in a mythical and ferocious world in which Good battles Evil through flamboyant competition. Dressed in outrageous costumes and colourful masks, the Luchadores will perform thrilling acrobatic moves to the delight and awe of the cheering crowd. Saturday, 11th May. Matinee family show at 2pm.
Dog Lovers must head to Cabbages & Frocks Market this Saturday for a fun-filled day! Try 'Doga', a yoga session where you can flow with your doggie, watch Dima and his Good Boy Dog School show plus stay for the Dog Competition that starts at 2.30pm. Saturday, 11th May. 11am–5pm.
Get involved with RAD as part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe that kicks off this Sunday. From family and creative dance taster classes based on popular children’s tales, to tours of its Battersea studios and archives, there’s something for everyone! All events are free but must be booked in advance. This Sunday families can join the RAD for a guided tour of its historic headquarters, and find out about its role in British ballet. Take a peek inside the studios and discover the unique collection of shoes, costumes, designs and photographs.
A confused young girl, struggling to understand how she feels about the strange new world she lives in. With the help of her quirky new friends, she embarks upon a quest to discover the mixture of emotions & colours that make her unique! Darling family show to catch at the Omnibus Clapham. Recommend for ages 3–8. Sunday, 12th May. 11am & 2pm. Tickets: £9, £7 concessions.
Everybody told Barney not to play too near the edge of the chalk pit – but today was one of those grey days when there was nothing to do – nothing to play – and nowhere to go. Except to the chalk pit – the Dump! Join Barney, Stig and their many friends as they embark on a series of unforgettable adventures in Chickenshed Young Company’s new adaptation. The show will run until 17 May. Tickets from £3.
