Enjoy moving, making, eating and relaxing in the Geffrye’s beautiful gardens at this family summer festival which is all about wellbeing and feeling good. Explore your creativity with Origami or Turkish marbling, join in outdoor games, relax in one of the chill-out deckchairs or treat yourself to a restorative foot massage. Saturday, 1st June. 10.30am–4pm. Free.
The award-winning, sidesplitting slapstick comedy routine takes the household wheelie bin to new heights, and delivers a dump-truck full of hilarity! The trio of dexterous dummies take the audience on a journey into their playful imagination, where they invite them to take a fresh look at the humble household wheelie bin. Shows run until Sunday. Tickets from £11.50. Suitable for ages 3+.
From the cotton mills of the Lancashire hills to the big smoke of London, follow Annie, a young mill lass as she fights for her right to vote. However, the fight for change is never easy, and young Annie must learn to defend herself and her fellow suffragettes from those that seek to stop them. Tickets: £14 adults, £12 children. Ages 7–11.
Meet a mouse on a mission—a mission to the Moon! Children can find out all about rockets in this wonderful workshop at the Science Museum. They will make their very own rocket mouse and see how high they can blast it into space. Saturday and Sunday, 11am. Suitable for under 6s.
This is the final weekend to head to the Dulwich Picture Gallery and to be transported to the wild landscapes of rural Norway. This first major UK exhibition of Sohlberg's works is bursting with the wilderness of the Nordic landscape, the softness of its flower fields and the harsh beauty of its winters. Under 18s go free.
