Tales and Trails at Kew Gardens

Join Grimbert the Badger and Reynard the Fox for a whimsical outdoor adventure this December at Kew. Cosy up for storytelling and songs with Rose Reid who'll be entertaining visitors with tales of forest life and ancient trees. Opens this Saturday.

A Christmas Carol at Charles Dickens Museum

Join in for a special candlelit performance of this classic Christmas story with ingenious puppetry animating the words of Scrooge. Tickets: £22 (includes Museum visit). Suitable for ages 12+.

Circus 1903 at Southbank Centre

Experience the thrills and daredevil entertainment of a turn-of-the-century circus this weekend! Circus 1903 includes life-sized elephants stunningly created by puppeteers from War Horse. Plus acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, trapeze and high-wire performers and more! Fab family fun. Recommended for ages 3+.

The Magic of Christmas Past at Windsor Castle

Marvel at Windsor Castle's festive display, including the centrepiece – a striking 20ft Nordmann Fir tree. Then visit the crafty art workshop and create your very own decorations to take home and hang on your Christmas tree. Saturday, 22nd December. 11am–3pm.

Christmas Craft Sessions at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink

Combine your skating session at the NHM with a drop-in workshop. You can create your very own unique Christmas decorations with Hattie & Flora, plus free face painting. Sunday 22 December from 11am – 4pm in the Natural History Museum’s Café Bar, tickets are £5 per person per decoration.
