Frankenstein for Kids at Lyric Hammersmith

When Igor, Dr Frankenstein’s assistant, attempts to assemble a beautiful dancer made from balloons, it all goes wrong. Step into Circo Ridiculoso’s quirky show, a hilarious fusion of silliness, storytelling and brilliant balloon puppetry. Saturday, 9th November. Tickets: £8. Perfect for ages 4–11.

Marvellous and Mischievous: Literature's Young Rebels at the British Library

A joyous family-friendly exhibition bringing together children's literary rebels at the British Library. See how characters from Pippi Longstocking to Princess Pearl break rules and learn the importance of resilience from Oliver Twist, Tracy Beaker and The Midnight Gang. Kids can dress up as a determined rebel, create their own comic, or take time out in the reading area. Opens tomorrow!

Annie at the New Wimbledon Theatre

If you missed the West End run, now is the time to get your tickets! Lesley Joseph stars as the tyrannical Miss Hannigan! We loved it! 11–16 November. Tickets from £13. Ages 2+

Christmas in Leicester Square opens

The Christmas festival in West End set in a European-style Christmas Market and complete with a storytelling Santa’s Grotto, is opening this Friday! Children can listen to a festive tale, meet Father Christmas and receive a small pressie. Tickets from £11.50. Plus families can wander around over 30 different stalls purveying the finest selection of yuletide food, drink and gifts.

Sleeping Beauty's workshop at the RAD

Children are invited to uncover the story of this timeless classic portrayed through dance and learn about the main characters in a ballet production. They can learn and retain steps and sequences, working with the group to create a performance piece based on a scene from the story. The workshops are suitable for ages 4–11 and will be held on 17 November. Booking closes on 13 November.
